Information technology does and will change our society in this 21st century, which is called IT revolution.　Internet has been changing social mechanism of electronic business, electronic government and so on, and super-small sensor and microprocessor will make “ubiquitous” informationalized society true which is kind to the human beings.
Computer Science and Engineering Department aims to train the engineers who can support coming high-informationalized society from both software and hardware aspects.　In a software field, students study from programming languages to algorithm, operating systems and applied networking. In a hardware field, they do from the basis of electrics and electronics to component and integrated circuit of computer. As the integrated technology, students study intelligent robots, multimedia, CG and artificial intelligence.
