Nowadays, information and communication technology is a mainstream of infrastructure supporting a various information system, application software and social service. The information and communication engineering department aim to train the network engineers to use both the network engineering and the communication engineering in the Internet. In the network engineering, students learn from the basis of information engineering to the networking and the Web design in practically. In the communication engineering, students learn from the basis of hardware using information and communication field to the optical fiber engineering and mobile communication engineering. Highly motivated students could go on to the graduate school. Many foreign students have also been accepted to professors in the graduate school.
