Biography

Michiharu Maeda received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in theoretical physics in 1990 and 1992, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in information and computer science in 1997, from Kagoshima University, Japan. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Fukuoka Institute of Technology. His research interests include computational intelligence, mathematical & physical computation, signal processing, emotion informatics, and information design.
